Galleria, Houston

Isn't this weird, creepy even, that this mega shopping center in Houston, Texas the 4th largest city in the USA seems almost devoid of people?

Reminds me of one of those sci-fi movies where everyone is dead from the blasts; but the malls go on and on and on. LOL

Billie - your blog is really a work of art. The mall pictures tickled me--all that stuff, and nobody there to snap it up!

After a gringo spends a whole summer down here she can really appreciate siesta and mid-afternoon comida. For us it was just a way to adapt to the heat.

Thanks to 1st mate and Brenda. Some of the big stores in the Galleria were so empty that I was in my "watch out" mode. You know like when you go on a street in a city where no one is around. But after being in Mexico for a while, I was amazed at the number of selections for any item. And I want to write a blog about that. Just need to find the time.
