Just a block away from our house in San Miguel de Allende is a small restaurant called Rinconcita. Miguel and Mercedes own the restaurant and they both speak English. We first found them years ago when we rented a house just around the corner. Rinconcita is one of our favorite places for a relaxing Comida or Cena. I'm sure it would be a favorite breakfast place too if they opened before 1:00 PM. Not only is the food excellent but the place is kept spotless.

My favorite things on their menu are the bacon wrapped shrimp that you see here and the beef tacos with pineapple. But we've sampled it all and any choice on the menu is a good one.
