My Life With the iPhone

So far I've made a gazillion bad images with the iPhone. It is so easy to play with the apps, especially ones like Hipstamatic and Instamatic. Then you can download other apps that are just cameras or you can use a ton of photoshop-type apps on an image. It is fun. I think I must be addicted to playing with all the photo apps like some people are with playing Angry Birds on the iPhone.

A few days ago I started to play with a new "camera" in the Hipstamatic application and it has been leading me in an interesting direction, small still lifes in my home. The iPhone is perfect for this. So many times I see a still life but the big girl camera is upstairs and I'm downstairs. The iPhone is always with me. I don't have to think, can I stop what I'm doing and go get the big camera. I just pull out the iPhone and snap.

I'm so easy to entertain these days....as long as I have my iPhone.

Quick, it's time to stage an intervention. Billie is now taking the iPhone to the bathroom. We must get her into a 12-step program at once!

I'll have to check out some of those apps! I've just started using my iphone for photos, it's just handier and lighter. I like your still lifes, the grouping you did here looks like a cool cookbook cover.

No, no, Jennifer. I refuse to go to a 12-step program. I said the iPhone is always with me. I'm not giving it up even in the bathroom!

Mate, There are so many apps it is overwhelming. The hispstamatic is kind of mainstream and easy. But again a ton of choices. Go for it.

My Windows-based telephone is refusing to talk with my new computer. One of them has to go. I suspect it will be the telephone. I may be joining you as an addict.

Oh, no. Billie's in denial, which is proof positive that she's in need of a 12-step program.

Billie: How much sleep do you get? I don't know how you find enough time to play with all these toys.

Yes, even at lunch the other day, in the middle of conversations, there she was, playing with her phone. I did ask her if she was addicted. She answered, "Probably".

Get up here Jennifer - intervention is necessary!

Jennifer -- She doesn't need a 12-step program, she just needs Ned to lock the bathroom door.

Keep having fun, Billie.

I'm telling everyone, I'm okay. But I'm getting older and there are gazillions of images out there. I've got to take them NOW and the iphone is very handy. Excuse me please, I can't type anymore because I'm feeling a little shaky. The iPhone is out of my hands while it recharges. I don't know why it takes so long to recharge. I need it. I really, really need it right now!

I did notice you took a pic in the bathroom too. I'd start an online intervention for you, except, um... I take my iPhone in the bathroom to check Facebook, LOL! I am so loving my iPhone too. I got one last year and the love is still strong!!!
