Lake Atitlan

There are a lot of things I'm thinking about writing in my blog today but they are political comments or they are about the media coverage of Gustav. I'm riled up but rather than bore you with my rants, I'll just post this calm view of Lake Atitlan in Guatemala.

We had rain again last night and our blue skies are once again replaced with clouds and misty fog out toward the mountains. It is probably a good day to turn off the TV and pick up a good book or get lost in processing more photographs from the Guatemala trip. Or maybe I'll download a trial version of a software for creating Black and White images from color digital files.......Nik Software: Silver Efex Pro. I've been looking at the tutorials and they look pretty interesting.

That's great, Billie. We're supersaturated with Hurrican Gustav and politics coverage and the look of the boats on Lake Atitlan is so soothing. Thanks,

Bill O.

Looking at this photo is like salve for the eyes...and the soul. A very welcome break from the rants.
