Flores, Guatemala

Colorful Flores in Guatemala is a little more than an hour from Tikal and it is an island in Lake Peten Itza that is connected by a causeway to the mainland. We were only in Flores for a short while but I was enchanted by the Carribean feeling in the colors of the buildings. I wish I would have had more time to take the Holga for a walk around town.

Too funny - I obviously had some typing issues ... too bad we do not have spell check in comments :)

American mommy in Mexico, I sure could use it in the comments section as well. Unfortunately, my spell check in Blogger has stopped working or sometimes it will do a spell check in Spanish. And that isn't much help.
