Lest We Forget

I think I've posted before about this blog from a reporter in Mississippi. His post today, September 28, made me realize how little I really understand what the people along the Gulf Coast are going through.

Hi, we are at the housesit so will have a more constant internet access for a week or so. Glad that Rita wasn't as bad as expected, we were thinking of you as we travelled. We have seen some lovely scenery on our trip so far and are having a great time; although I'm not so sure about all the rain in the desert. Nice to hear from you.
