I'm not making this up. No Photoshop tricks. For a few minutes on a clear night, the sky is the most incredible color of blue.

Yeah, that happens a lot in places that are a bit higher than sea level, especially high desert like SM. I saw it a lot this summer while out west.....very lovely time of night.
