Some days it seems like the past three months have flown by and other times the three months seem like forever. Ned's lung cancer is back again and new treatments are underway. The time has been taken up with tests, radiation, doctors and chemo treatments. The good news is that he isn't in pain now. The bad news is chemo therapy is a bitch. At any rate, I think we have things sorted out and I'll be able to write in the blog from time to time.
We are so fortunate to be in Houston and have first-rate medical care. Even more important we are surrounded by family and friends and comforted by emails and phone calls by those who are not close by.
The fight continues.

Hardly an hour passes that my thoughts don't turn to you and Ned.
I am not lost, merely geographically impaired. Happy to see a small post, but certainly understand why you haven't been posting.
My good energies are going out to you both. Hang in there.
regards,
Theresa
I send positive thoughts your way.

Of course we are here, Billie. We think of the two of you often and hopefully some of the healing thoughts we are sending your way will hit their mark. Hugs to you both.
Wishing both you and Ned all the best in this difficult time! Deborah
Sorry that the battle continues...but as others have suggested Ned is lucky to have great support from a loving family - and he is in the prayers of many that just know him via the Internet (this includes Anita and I.
You all are in our prayers.
I'm so sorry to hear Ned's cancer is back. You'll both be in my prayers.
You live each day one at a time and do what needs to be done. We appreciate that and wish you and Ned good times ahead.
