The Heat

You need some cool refreshments in this heat and it is hot in Houston. I hear that it is still hot in San Miguel de Allende. The advantage that Houston has over San Miguel is Houston is an air-conditioned city. In fact, Houston claims to be the most air-conditioned city in the world. You go from your air-conditioned house to your air-conditioned car to the air-conditioned store. If you do get hot, have a sangria like I did at Hugo's last night. Most refreshing.

I'll tell you what, Billie: Living in Charleston, SC is no piece of cake, either! :-) I do not like coastal cities! It is too hot and humid from May through September. I prefer the cooler climes of the mountains; however, as guy has to work and Charleston has the jobs! So, here I be!

One thing is for sure, I'm glad that I'm living in a time of air conditioned comfort. I couldn't imagine trying to sleep in this weather! Ick!

BTW, that Sangria looks absolutely tasty! Yummy!!! I had a Pineapple Ginger Mojito the other day and let me tell you ... it hit the spot!

A glass of sangria sounds good to me right now too!

AZs I sit here in the humidity of Melaque causing sweat to pour out of me, I have only one question. What is air conditioning?

As heather said, "a glass of sangrĂa sounds really good..." but, do people in Houston care for the planet with all that electricity used? Don't know but care.

Cordiales saludos,

Alfredo.
