This is a personal blog where I will be writing about family, photography, cooking, gardening, living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and growing older. And maybe anything else that happens to interest me. You've been warned...but feel free to read along.

Way, way cool.....almost looks like a "watercolor". Ha, pardon the pun......but it DOES.
There are so many big moments in Mexico, but I value most the tiny details. This is one. Lovely and spontaneous.
Babs stole my line. I would say "fish line," but that would merely be gilding the "water lily." I need to go to bed.
Don't mean to sound ignorant but what's a holga lens? The photo is so atmospheric.
I think it had something to do with the bait you used....:-)
Joanna, The holga camera is a plastic camera from China that uses 120 film. Processing film and scanning negs is a problem for me here in MX. Now I have the lens from a holga camera fixed up so I can attach it to my digital camera.
You can google Holga cameras and come up with hundreds of links. Also take a look at holgamods.com which is the guy who rigged up the holga lens for me.
BTW, your question isn't ignorant. I doubt many people except photographers have heard of holga cameras. Many of my images in the blog are made with the holga camera or the holga lens on my digital camera. I'm so use to the holga and have referenced it on the blog so many times that I do not think about putting in a link for it.
Hi Billie. I like the fuzziness of it. Almost what the fish are experiencing, a swish here, a swish there. I noticed that even on the road Steve is posting and commenting. How neat. Anyway, I love your stuff Billie, always very creative. Have a great weekend.
