Countryside

In central Mexico it is dry. The grasses are brown. It is still three months until the rains start. Yet, as we climbed higher into the mountains we were surrounded by forests of pines and oak, small lakes and then the vast lake at Valle de Bravo....so different from the high plains we had passed through.

Maybe it is different, but still oh so beautiful. Thank you.

Your vistas capture something that is concurrently universal and unique. I feel as if I have lived in this photograph, while being amazed at its original view.

Gloria and Steve, thank you. As you may have guessed, I've been traveling with little time to do more than post an image so I really appreciate your comments.
