Archive #11

Yesterday I was looking back in my old negatives. I had an inquiry from a design firm about using some of my images for one of their projects. It doesn't look like it is going to work out for a number of reasons. This isn't one of the images that they inquired about but while I was looking I saw this one and it brought back a day of wonderful memories from a two-week workshop I took in Oaxaca in the summer of 1994.

This is a great photo! I had to do a double take because at first glance I thought I saw the flowers moving. I better go lie down for awhile :)

Bob is so funny sometimes. But you know he right about it being a great photo. I clicked on it to enlarge and the white flowers are just gorgeous as is her dress. I wonder what she was thinking. No make-up. Quite the Mexican woman. Beautiful. They should use this photo. Take care.

Excellent photo. Sorry the project with the design firm didn't work out. They'd be crazy not to use your photographs, but I can't tell from your post if it was really you that chose not to work with them, if their requests/demands were unreasonable.

It would be so nice to find the lady out and retake the photo again in 2009. Great shot.
