Leaves Aflame

I was looking back in some old files and found this image from a walk along Buffalo Bayou in Houston made just after I bought the Canon 10D at least five years ago. These are the leaves of the tropicana canna plant with the sun behind them. Looks like a leaping fire. Somehow it reminds me of a Georgia O'Keefe painting. Wonder how it would look printed large on one of the wonderful new papers.

Billie -- Your earlier photographs inspired me to start using the camera along our local stream. I tried some backlit leaves -- only to discover that I had not reinstalled my memory card. Ah, well. None of them were as gorgrous as the shot you posted today.

That is beautiful Billie! I would love it printed really large, it would light up a wall.

I've been considering having some pics printed very large but I have no idea how or where. I see some google time in my future.

That's an incredible shot. Don't shoot me for the suggestion, but I can't get out of my mind what this image would look like if printed on cloth.

It is picture perfect, and I would love a tablecloth of it. Thank you.

Steve, don't worry. Many's the time I've forgotten a memory card of a fresh battery. S*%t happens as some say. You can also do things like save the small jpg for the net but not the larger on for a print.........yes, I did. I'll need to work up the image again but I'm going to make a print.
