Mariscos El Jaibo

Over on my Flickr, Patzcuaro commented about this image:
Oh, this is a great shot! I could write a story about this..."After father died and mother opened the restaurant, business quickly picked up. We decided that perhaps we'd get more customers if we set up shop on the sidewalk under the old tree that dad had planted many years ago as a seedling. Mother took what little savings she had and "Madrina" Socorro pitched in as well. The cart was not new but after a good cleaning, it sparkled more than the cathedral's chandelier on a Sunday Morning..."

Wow.....I just love it when someone connects with one of my images and it writes a story for them.

That must be one of the best compliments that can be paid to an image. To have a single still frame be meaningful enough to someone that it elicits an emotional response strong enough to generate an internal 'movie'.

Howard, it is a nice compliment although I don't think this is one of my best images. This ties back to your post a week or so ago about predictions.

Who knows what someone else will connect with.
